Precious Love
James Morrison
2008

Time for yet another singer/songwriter. Going to go out on a limb (not a Phantom Limb, just the regular kind) and say that most of you, maybe even all of you, haven't heard of this Englishman or this song. But maybe you have and you just don't know it. One of the shows that got me through the pandemic was Schitt's Creek -- highly, highly recommend if you have not yet had the pleasure. In the Season 2 finale, this song plays at the end of the episode and it's like the first time where you realize, oh wow they actually may love each other after all. Plus you get to watch Eugene Levy dance, which is a treat in and of itself. Rather than link the actual music video, just enjoy the 90 second clip below.

From that point forward, this started to be a heavy song in the rotation on family road trips (although I'd like to think we're a little less dysfunctional than the Schitts). Also, if you haven't noticed, I really, really pay attention to the music on tv shows.

Other Songs Considered:
Sorry James, I've never explored your catalog!
